So this is my first ‘haul post’. I noticed other bloggers like to do this so not really an original idea for a post, but I have ordered and purchased some lovely things lately I just wanted to brag a little.
I love Jones and Jones, I have collaborated with them before so they very kindly gave me a friends of Jones and Jones discount for my future purchases. I spotted the above dress when they first released it on their site and instantly feel in love. Unfortunately if you snooze you loose and when I went to purchase it, the dress of my dreams had sold out. I waited and waited (2 weeks that’s a long time when you want something badly) and finally it is hanging in my wardrobe.
I have a terrible habit for just purchasing evening wear and I actually really struggled to click the add to basket button when it came to these items. In the back of my mind I knew there was a lovely frilly skirt or sparkly dress with my name on it. I am glad I purchased these items though, a sparkly dress doesn’t come in use if you want to nip to the shops to buy a bottle of milk or take Eva to soft play.
So included above is these ASOS soft green high waisted jeans. Ever since I have been a fashion blogger, I am taking photo’s of myself in outfits. I never realised how pigeon legged I looked in skinny jeans, the mirror tells some terrible lies. Going to have to splash out on a whole new collection of flared and bootleg jeans. Even if you are not a fashion or personal style blogger, I would suggest taking photo’s of yourself in outfits from all angles. Then you really know what you look like.
These high heeled chelsea boots are c/o Stylist pick, picked by myself. They are seriously awesome *said with american accent* (sorry american readers). They really are a staple piece for me this AW and you are going to see them on ALOT of outfit posts to come, they are going to go with practically anything. If you haven’t joined up to Stylist pick go go go. They have fresh shoes every month including a Cheryl Cole collection in 5 days.
If you didn’t see in my last Stylist Pick post they include a sweet little thank you gift. This month it was a sparkly ring, unfortunately I have piano fingers so it will have to be a gift to someone.
More shoes if I don’t have enough already, these are for basic wearing. Like with dresses I seem to have the same issue with shoes. I got these suede ankle shoe boots from ASOS also. I love them, I have walked a good old distance in them already and they are really comfortable.
Its a sad old world when you are buying yourself perfume. I suppose I could have waited until Christmas to receive it but I was desperate to get the Elie Saab La Parfum when I had smelt a sample. Also I have developed a fascination with photographing perfume bottles. I really want to find some empty vintage perfume bottles to have as decoration.
I really like Clarins for lipstick. I already have a postbox red shade, but wanted a more browner shade for daytime wear. It tends to stay put a long time.
I also purchased these Benefit False Eyelashes. They were quite expensive for around £11.99 each, but apparently they last 11-15 uses if cared for correctly. I can’t seem to find them on-line so if you want a pair you might have to go in store. They are quite new to benefit also.
Finally the hyped Nanoblur, I saw it sitting on the shelf and succumb to their clever marketing ploys. I am yet to try it so there may be a review on the cards. Also I re-stocked on boots No 7 perfect and protect, really great stuff.
So there you go my very first haul post, I really enjoyed taking photos of the items and makes me appreciate them even more.
