I have been a bit slack on my blogging of late, its not that I don’t want to blog, I actually have loads of stuff I want to put up. I don’t want every post to be me and my bedroom wall.   Most of my photo’s I have to put on a tripod and self timer and because I look after my little Eva, I don’t really want to take her out in this freezing cold weather watching me prance around.  The bloke is useless when it comes to taking photo’s he is really impatient, so I have to wait for the day I see the mother and then she always turns up when it is getting dark, so not much luck lately.  Thankfully I have proper lighting so can use the wall for last resorts.

Anyway… enough of my photography woes.  These photo’s are part of my blogging month with Republic, you can see my first post here.  I got to pick what I wanted to blog about and I chose these candy jeans to start with.  I absolutely love them and have worn them three times this week (only received them 5 days ago) this was my favourite look.

This is how I am wearing coloured jeans at the moment, its far too cold to break out in a whole SS12 ensemble so I am incorporating my winter look with a pop of colour.

Also I picked up this collar in Primark for £1, I might buy a few more to DIY on and create my own statement necklaces. I don’t usually go in Primark, agreed the clothes look ok, but they feel like crap and only last a couple of washes, never a nice fit either. I can think of some online retailers that are like this also, not naming names. Don’t buy cheap, buy well!

Here are some more candy jeans from republic, I am going to get the yellow pair as well. Can’t wait for summer!

    • I wanted to get red and green for ages, no idea why I haven’t yet. Darker colours are more slimming as well. My thighs are getting a life of their own hehe x

    • Aghhh its such a pain, maybe I will be a Spring/Summer blogger only and hibernate through the winter x

  1. Hands up for the colour jeans! yay! I know what you mean about the beadroom wall I have been blogging for 1 year with pretty much most of my style post indoors ( you know how is like the little boy my own work and housewife stuff that i’m rubbish btw!) but I don’t have time for me walking around taking photos outdoors! But like I said in my post I found this place near home with colourful walls! amazing! because is empty! so I can quick drag my hubby to take photos! I know they are rubbish but he is getting better! of course with me telling him what to do like a control freak that I am! The thing that annoys me the most about primark are the bottons!

    • You are very creative with your posts (animating them) they could be anywhere, I am too lazy hehe. I love the new place you have found, I am also a shouting control freak when it comes to photo’s, Luke gets so angry with me. I think if you only have £5 to spend on something, probably better to go to a charity shop and look for something quality xx

    • Oh yes I would love mint green aswell, I have been crazy about that colour for a while. Not much of it in the shops until, love the pastel trend xx

  2. Oh how I love this colored jeans trend! It seems like, with the exception of “mint,” the color swatch of choice in the States is very jewel-toned, with deep reds and purples. I love these pastels even more – they’re so happy and springy!

And don’t worry about your white wall – at least it serves as a clean and neutral background :)
