Nelly.com UK Blogger Launch Party

Last Thursday I made my way over to the W Hotel to check out the Nelly UK website launch party.  Nelly are Scandinavia’s largest online store and have over 800 different brands to choose from.  These Range from reasonably priced brands to more high end designer labels.  Nelly also have their own label (Nelly Trend) which includes clothing, shoes and accessories.  The spiked shoes below were a huge hit with most of the bloggers.

Sandra Hagelstam from 5 inch and Up gave a talk about her current collaborations with Nelly and she has even been designing for them.  Her collection ’5 Inch and up for Nelly’ will be released in August.

The evening was really lovely and we was very spoilt.  There was a nail bar a beauty couch where I chose to have some eyelashes applied, we got to pick a pair of shoes, an item of clothing and an additional voucher to spend on-line.  I managed to spill champagne all down my front, thankfully the toilets had some bad boy hand driers that cleaned that up pretty quickly.  Although I smelt like a park bench alcoholic for the remainder of the evening.  Then to top it off my eyelash fell off and I knocked my second champagne over narrowly missing Ree and a PR girl, I am totally smooth.

Then to end the evening Myself, Becky, Ree and Kristabel went for a quick drink after to Bills in St martin’s courtyard.  Then I had to quickly rush off realising my last train was leaving very soon. (The annoyance of living outside of London and in the sticks).

So have you heard of Nelly? What do you think of those shoes? they could do some damage, watch out men!

    • Yes I totally meant to knock two glasses of Champagne over ;) I wasn’t even drunk at that point, such a clumsy fool haha x

    • It is definitely one of the better ones I have been to. They were fab, you should get some :) xx

    • You tooo, so glad you are as nice in real life as you seem on your blog ;)

Yes people will probably hate me for that hehe, I think it gets the spirit on an event rather than posed. I left out people eating etc haha xx

    • I was a bit shy, wish I had worked the room now to met everyone ;) Yes hopefully see you at another xx

  1. The bag looks great on you!

I had to look twice at the bottom right picture, I thought you were the Duchess of Cambridge! Those shoes are amazing, love them.

    • hahaha, its funny my daughter always say “its mummy” when she sees a photo of her. Princess and the pauper ;) xx

  2. How very cool — wonder if Nelly will come across the pond to us next! I love spiky shoes (they take me back to my high school punk phase during which I had pink hair, limited eyebrows, and rungs of dog collars)! I’ve been looking for the perfect pair, and I’ve tried on everything from Loubs to Edelmans but still have not yet come across my sole-mate (sorry pun) pair. The drivers pictured above I would rock in a heartbeat! :)
