Trying on Marc Cain AW14

After the Next SS14 event the week before last I made my way over to Great Portland street to pay a visit to a new brand on my radar – Marc Cain. I had a quick look on the website before I went along there is no point going if I know a brand is not to my taste. On that topic… I have noticed people suggest bloggers are not honest and only have glowing reviews of every brand they come across. For me personally I just don’t post about things that are not for me or I don’t like. Seems like a waste of time and effort. Unless a brand had been so awful and effected me personally I would never post a negative review.

Back onto Marc Cain… as soon as I walked into the showroom, I knew this German brand was right up my street! Lots of classic pieces with a touch of girly grunge.

This petrol blue leather jacket was my personal favourite piece

I have to be wearing these boots this Autumn/Winter – I took them for a little wander outside. I told the Marc Cain girls to watch me in case I ‘accidentally’ walk off with them.

The Marc Cain PR team thought it would be fun to try some pieces on and step outside for some ‘paparazzi’ style photographs. I obviously picked the pointed boots and petrol blue jacket to try on. Also how useless am I at pretending the camera isn’t there! Hey Camera – head to the side, half smile.

The outerwear deemed popular with the other guests. As soon as I arrived I spotted a girl outside snapping a fluffy number. Also Toni and Harriet in the top photo joined me for a photo modelling Marc Cain coats.

The price point I would say is very ‘Whistles’ or ‘Reiss’. Great quality pieces though and items you would want to keep for years and years. I am a new fan!
