Living in my Skater Shoes

This is probably the most difficult outfit post I have ever attempted. I was trying to hold onto Luna while setting up my tripod, being super paranoid about all the people walking past thinking I am the biggest nob on this planet. And keeping an eye on what Eva was doing. I gave up after a few shoots and walked home to do the rest in my garden. I generally hate garden outfit photos, but when needs must.

As the title states… I am living in skater shoes at the moment. It’s my favourite trend of SS14. I can’t deal with wearing trainers which is the other biggest footwear trend of the season. I like them on some people, but overall I feel it looks too ‘on your way to the gym’ or ‘swapping your heels for comfy shoes on the commute home’.  I have been known to change my mind on these things being the trend whore that I am. So you may be telling me to eat my words in a couple of weeks.

This is basically my everyday uniform at the moment – super casual. Although usually my hair is in a mahoosive top knot balanced on my head. For the purpose of an outfit post, I thought I would make some effort on my hair.

I was sent over some of the Tom Ford range at Harrods.com that I am loving at the moment, especially the Tom Ford  lip colour in true coral. In some lights its red, other pink and orange. When you first put it on it’s quite wet looking for a while and then turns matte. If you don’t reapply it just fades away without looking rank. It’s quite expensive at £36, but I would absolutely recommend it. I think I will probably use it liberally.

I have so much to photograph at the moment, a complete backlog. I might just do it on the tripod when Eva is back at nursery and leave Luna at home. It’s becoming more and more difficult relying on other people and apart from my mother/daughter style posts…the most looked at entries on my blog.
